The minute I bought coin, I never won a game. Opponnets rolls doubles …. Constantly. I won all the games prior to buying coin. If you don’t care about losing coins, do so without buying them.

While the rolls in this game do seem a lot random and fairer than other backgammon apps, there is not much else nice to game. This game is for hardcore gambling types only. The first basic level is nice. There is no doubling cube, the games are friendly, and are decided mainly on skill. Unfortunately, once you win too many games at this level (even if your win rate is under 50%), even if you are enjoying yourself, spending coins on silly colored dice, etc. the game automatically advances you to the higher levels. That is where the fun stops. The doubling cube is introduced, a 12% vig is taken from any winnings, play becomes aggressive etc. Would have been happy to keep playing at the first level, spending my coins, and making money for the developer. But apparently that is not what they want. They only want the aggressive hardcore players who will double and double upon themselves, lose all their coins rapidly, and have to buy and buy new ones. Not even much else to achieve. Prizes and awards are virtually nonexistent. So I left, but not after writing this review to warn people.

I have been trying to find a fair and level backgammon game. At first glance this one seem to be pretty equal. I did have at least two times that I lost a game due to incorrect play… Instead of me, being able to move the pips, the computer did it for me, and the move that they made caused me to lose the game my biggest issue is connectivity. And it’s only when the game first begins probably one out of five times. It looks like the game has started even with the role of the dice but the other player times out and then I am the one that is at fault. Here is my issue… When I contacted the game developers and told him this was happening, I received an email back with a complete tirade of swears, terrible language and name-calling, and then they blocked me from the game. I was not threatening, nor aggressive. Very strange way of doing business.
