Relive the excitement of Final Fantasy Adventure―a timeless classic remastered for a new generation. ■STORY Enshrined atop Mt. Illusia, high above the lofty clouds, stands the Tree of Mana. Drawing its life energy from the boundless celestial aether, the sentinel grows in silence. Legend holds that he who lays his hands upon its trunk will be granted power eternal―a power the Dark Lord of Glaive now seeks to further fuel his bloody quest for domination. Our unlikely hero is one of countless gladiators indentured to the Duchy of Glaive. Each day, he and his ill-fated companions are dragged from their cells and bade to fight exotic beasts for the amusement of the Dark Lord. If victorious, they are thrown back into the dungeons with just enough bread to tide them over until their next match. But a body can only take so much, and it is never long before the weary captives succumb to their cruel fates. ■SYSTEM Adventures of Mana's battle system grants you the freedom to move about the playing field without restriction, allowing for thrilling combat in which you decide when to attack and how to evade. ・Controls Player movement is achieved via a virtual joystick accessible anywhere on the screen. An auto-adjust feature has also been added so that even if your thumb strays from its original position, you will never lose control of the hero. ・Weapons Weapons are divided into six unique categories, some with uses beyond merely dealing damage. Determining when and where to equip each kind will prove the key to success on your quest. ・Magic From restoring lost HP or removing various ailments, to rendering foes incapacitated or dealing deadly blows, there are eight different spells for almost any occasion. ・Obstacles Bloodthirsty enemies are not the only things standing in the way of completing your quest. You will need both tools and your wits to overcome the many challenges encountered in the world of Mana, ranging from locked doors to hidden rooms to traps growing progressively more complex as the game progresses.
Good but.
1st play through was ok. A good game. A lot of creatures can only be hurt by certain weapons. I found it tedious to constantly change weapons during battle to kills guys. The second playthrough seemed boring and I quite early. The replay value just wasn’t there for me. I replayed many NES games dozens of times and the replay value was awesome even though the graphics weren’t good. Still this is a good solid game. But now that I beat it, it’s now permanently shelved. I’d rather play this than any freemium game out there though.
Better than Zelda! Plain. Simple. Period.
Now that i’ve triggered all you fanbois, i'm going to go load my cast iron skillets into my dishwasher. Seriously though, beautifully remastered game which takes the old gameboy version to the next level. the revamped music is amazing as well. Definitely worth owning.
Devoid of Entertainment
This game is not worth the high price. As I understand it, it is a remake of an old GameBoy game. The updated 3D graphics make the scenes look devoid of life, the controls are encumbering, and the plot is ham fisted. Everything looks the same. The monsters are boring.
Game Ending Glitch
Listen, I buy all the Square Enix games, every single Final Fantasy and these action RPG’s as well. But this game has a GAME ENDING GLITCH that occurs once you defeat Ifrit about halfway through the game! You get stuck outside of the dungeon without your Chocobo travel back over water and continue the story. It’s a shame, because it’s a really fun game up until that point. I won’t be asking for a refund because I like to support SE and hope they bring more games into the App Store, but please fix these type of things before releasing them. BUYER BEWARE!
Fantastic remake of the Original
This game is an amazing remake of the original gameboy version. Great music and a simple but good story with unique areas and bosses to fight. In typical SquareSoft fashion, the updates often take a year or more to show up, but thankfully the most recent update fixed all the issues this game was having.
Playable again, but just one problem
Thank you so much for the fix, but there is still just one problem. In Cloud Save/Load menu, Latest Save's MP is copying HP's number and Quicksave's GP is copying Lv's number. Therefore, Latest Save's MP should not be copying HP's number nor should Quicksave's GP be copying Lv's number.
Fix this app game and rename the app title please
The screen of this game looks small for my iPad Air 4th gen, would you please make it bigger? This game keeps on crashing every time I started/loaded my file, please upgrade its compatibility up to iOS/iPadOS 14.0 or better to prevent from crashing again. Words on the text box from the top of the screen looks off-center to the right, align it back to the exact middle center. In Cloud Save/Load menu, the Latest Save's MP is copying HP's number and Quicksave's GP is copying Lv's number. Therefore, Latest Save's MP should not be copying HP's number nor should Quicksave's GP be copying Lv's number. And lastly, this app title "sk1ww" looks too ugly and unbearable to read on the Home Screen. Please rename it back to "AoM".
Fixed minor bugs.
