The worst wireless thermometer ever
Does not work with iOS 11.
Can no longer use
I spent $200 for this thermometer and now that I have upgraded to iOS 11, the app no longer works. Please update it as it is useless without the app.
Used to be good
App worked well 4 years ago when I first got it. After one of the updates, it erased the sync and won't allow me to sync to app. Tried deleting app and starting over, but nothing works. Just using as thermometer at this point until I dump it for something that works flawlessly.
Update or Pull the App
I keep getting a message that the app may not work with future versions of iOS. From looking at the last date any updates to the app were released, I'm gathering this means Williams-Sonoma has abandoned this app. That's a pity. It worked fine for me. The app is a bit unnecessary if you're hanging out in the kitchen where you can simply read the LED display on the thermometer base. But I liked it for when we might be hanging out in a different part of the house while cooking something.
Product is the worst William Sonoma has supported or ever sold.
The concept is absolutely spectacular. When and if you can get it to work it is really really great. BUT, getting it to work is a real challenge and good luck if it even works at all. However, the execution and support is absolutely the worst you could ever imagine. Once you finally get the device to connect to your network then the app requires you to log in to a F-ing Williams-Sonoma account and or create a Williams-Sonoma account. This is where your next good luck comes in, because even though you have two perfectly good William Sonoma login accounts (wife & mine) the app still will not login. You continually get the error message cannot login even though on any PC and any iPhone and any iPad you can login just fine. Why in the F do I need a Williams-Sonoma account just to connect to the F-Ing thermometer. ???!!!!! WHY ???????? I have two accounts and it still will not connect. Until it connects the thermometer is T totally a POS !!!!!!' The quality of William Sonoma and their standard of excellence has really been lowered. It is most disappointing as I always look to them as to have quality and reliable products for which I am very happy to pay a premium for. In this case brand excellence is brand zero. I will really question the quality of Williamson products in the future as a result of this extraordinarily terrible experience and ultimately poorest of poor product performance. Great concept, extremely poor poor execution for market readiness and support, good luck !!!! I've spent thousands if not tens of thousands and William Sonoma stores. I now refer to William Sonoma as William and Trash !!!! Buyer beware if you even think in your wildest dreams to buy this product and heaven help you and good luck if you already own it. Do not re-connect to a new network or settings because most likely it's not going to happen !!!!!!!!!!
Connection
App keeps saying it's not connected but the base is showing its on my wifi. I'm so tired of troubleshooting it :-/
