I want to PDF PRINT THE AD AT HOME
Why did you remove the ability to be able to print a pdf version of the weekly ad from home? The *new* website and *new* app both took steps backward as far as helping your VALUABLE CUSTOMER. DO YOU OR DO YOU NOT READ ANY OF YOUR LOYAL CUSTOMERS RECENT REVIEWS ABOUT YOUR *UPGRADES*?
Extremely disappointed
I echo the same/similar sentiment of all the other user reviews since the app “upgrade” that occurred in May 2024 - disappointed. For years the app was top notch in nearly all aspects. It was my favorite app out of the 5-7 grocery stores that are all within the the same distance from me. Now it’s my least favorite app and I’d go as far to say that it’ll probably result in me going to Lunds less often. Which historically has been 80-90% of my shopping. I hope they saved money on this new shopping site because it might be necessary to offset business lost.
Horrible update
The newest update is HORRIBLE. The cart page constantly freezes, the first results of searches are awful and make no sense. The whole app is slow.
Ordering takes forever
The old app was significantly more streamlined. Finding product is very difficult. For example if you search for green pepper it pulls up a 100 products with green pepper in it, but not actual green peppers until you hunt in the app for 5 minutes to find a filter that says produce (oh and the filter for produce is not actually in the filter drop down, it’s sometimes at the top, but not always). The old app had a significantly smarter search capability.
New Version is Worse Than Old Version
The L&B app was my favorite grocery app, the others (both in MN and elsewhere in the country) were not even close when it came to user friendly interface and ease of use. BUT, someone decided to make it “better” and IMHO (at least) two changes make it almost unusable. The first, is the “bias” toward L&B branded products being displayed first. While I understand the company’s desire to put this in, you sometimes have to scroll through many items to get to a non-L&B branded product (e.g., spices). The second, is different “flavors” of a same product use to be “stacked” whereby if you were scrolling, you only had to look at (for example) one “category” jello and the app told you there were actually 15 different flavors of jello you could tap and open if that’s what you were looking for. NOW, you have to scroll through every single jello flavor before you see the next item/category. These two things really impact scrolling through your weekly ads. They both seem like areas that would be easy to fix/streamline and get back to the best grocery app in the country.
Not a fan of version 2209.70.1
I am disappointed in this “upgrade” to the app. *Previous version grouped items together so it wasn’t endless scrolling in the “shop weekly ad” - rather than see “oh, this beverage is on sale and it’s 20 items”, now I have to scroll through all 20 variations of that on-sale beverage. *The shopping list used to group items by department which made shopping in-store easy. Now it has no grouping option. *Items used to provide their aisle location (which was great if at an unfamiliar store). The old app was fantastic and I used it all the time. This new app is exactly like other grocery store apps I never use.
Redesign of Weekly Ad UI is TERRIBLE
Weekly ad used to work great - was two columns and all products were nested together for each deal keeping things concise and easy to browse. Now they decided for some reason it's a good idea to skip nesting/grouping things and just list every single size and flavor of everything on sale. Makes it impossible to look through quickly and if you do make it far into the weekly ad it crashes or lags because you've scrolled through so many rows (hundreds if not over a thousand depending on the week). Please bring back the old weekly ad format/condense the deals instead of listing everything so the app is usable again!
We are upgrading our app with new features and flows to improve online delivery for our shoppers. App now supports better search, display and promotional features. We've also integrated our Curbside Pickup service directly into the app for even more convenience. Enjoy!
