Great App with lots of potential
I’m an old school brewer and love to write my recipes and changes in my log book. I came across this app and was surprised at how well I could change over from pen and paper to electronic. It’s really nice that everything is in one place. There are however some minor things that I would like to see fixed or addressed: - I usually do a partial boil so instead of using 5gal initially I use 3 and then dilute down to 5 at the end. Using this option in the app gives the wrong original gravity as well as false parameters for the other values. Not a big deal but would be nice to have that option. - I also had a hard time finding the brew day tab and only after playing with the app for a while was I able to find it. - there should also be a place in the ingredients for yeast nutrient, finings, etc. Overall a great app and I will continue to support it even if I am an old timer.

This is a nice app. Simple, easy, and very intuitive to use. I like how the entire recipe and notes are one easy to glance at page. The recipes and batches are nicely organized. I like how you can change each measurement from English to Metric. I’m in the USA so, grains are bought by the lb, but the liter marks on my kettle are easier to read. The water calculator is simple and easy use, but the grist ratio is only L/kg. I don’t like how brewing salts are added to the “other” category under ingredients along with spices and fruit purée. Personally, I think of spices and fruits as adjuncts. What really keeps me from using and buying this app is that when you go to brew a new batch for a recipe, the app reverts back to the original recipe. It does not take into account any tweaks that were made in previous versions. Plus, the batch counter is a little buggy. It still counts batches that you deleted.
