The worst wallet with the worst customer support!
Nova Wallet is an abysmal service. The customer support is nonexistent. They steer you to their Telegram account but the second you ask a question you have dozens upon dozens (not an exaggeration) of fake scammer accounts DMing & calling your phone pretending to customer service. You can’t differentiate what is and is not actual customer service so you can’t get help. They refuse to just answer the question in the general group chat. It got so bad I ended up deleting the Telegram app to stop the calls. If you then try their email support you’ll get an email back with some general nonsense answers. You email back again explaining the first email didn’t address the problem and then go in detail your issues. You get another email not addressing the the issue. I’m at a loss what to do now. I have approximately $2,500 worth of crypto sitting there that a can’t move it because I don’t have the right tokens for the gas fees which are ridiculous scam. Can’t swap them outright or directly purchase the tokens because that would make too much sense. I definitely don’t recommend using Nova Wallet as it’s just not worth risking losing thousands of dollars on it.

My initial review was too harsh with not enough use to give a good review. My first impression was not great but I’m going to give some more time & give a more thorough review. As of now it will be enough to say this is not a wallet for beginners.

Nova Wallet is very close to being a scam & is definitely not ethical. First, if you stake your crypto they’ll charge you a fee. If unstake your crypto they’ll charge you another fee & then make you wait 30 days to be able to do anything with that crypto. You see your crypto’s value drop significantly & want to sell? Too bad because you can’t until the 30 days are up. There’s absolutely no point in staking on this platform because the risks of not being able to sell far exceeds the pittance you’re paid. Second, it’s seriously buggy & just sometimes doesn’t allow you to choose an option you should. Thirdly, the interface is beyond unintuitive it’s a mess. Good luck with trying to do simple things such as sell or swap your crypto because getting to that is a challenge. If you’re new to crypto trading I’d stay far away from mess. There are a bunch of easier, cheaper, more ethical wallets out there to even use this one.

This wallet looks clean and easy for new user just wondering that I wanted to swap to buy $DED which i have $DOT on polkadot asset hub (i even pay gas fee for swap from regular $DOT for this) and when i tried to swap to $DED on Hydradx.io they said i don’t have any $DOT to swap. But my coin still in the wallet. Please let me know if i miss something. I don’t want to bridge so many times for just ridiculous gas fees Thank you.

Stick with counbase. Nova is nothing but a scam. Once you stake your coins they’ll hold them preventing you from doing anything until you add more more money/DOT coins. The network fees are the issue & if them want to charge them those charges should be on the front end not the back. This is a sleazy practice & they know it. Done with them.
