My question is why do you need SSN number to verify my account? Why not have other options like ID. Your completion like Sendwave and WorldRemit offers different options for their customers why not offer the same? Identify theft is a real thing and most people are insecure about their SSN so they wouldn’t want to just put in any money transfer organization like yours. All I’m requesting is can you add more options on verifying accounts. United StatesDo Not Use for CFA (XOF) Transfers
I’ve been using Nala for a while to send USD to Kenyan Shillings and Rwandan Francs, and have never had an issue. They recently enabled transfers from USD to CFA (XOF) and it’s a disaster. Do not use this app if you want to transfer to that currency. I was double charged for a large transaction and both failed to be converted to CFA (XOF) from USD. When I reached out to customer service, they told me a refund could take up to 28 days. I don’t understand how you can take almost $2,000 from a customer for a service you didn’t provide and then hold funds for an entire month. I had to open a formal complaint through my bank to charge back the funds into my account. This was a horrible user experience and felt scammy on Nala’s part. I can no longer recommend this app. Do not use.

I tried using Nala and the first transaction failed. I am still waiting to get refunded. Worst thing is that the customer care isn’t responding. A word is enough for the wise!

Do not use this app to send money anywhere for now. They took my money and refused to pay out the money to the recipient in Africa. The transaction was supposed to clear on April 26, 2024. It has been 4 days now. The app kept showing delayed. No live representative to talk to. You can only chat them through the app.
