United StatesGoodbye Expensive Quicken! A true Life Saver!
I've tried sooo many finance apps over the years, many that are more extensive than this, but I've learned that my needs are simple: a checkbook-style register to record transactions, a forecasting model & the ability to track investment money for retirement. This does that (including some simple visuals) and I really couldn't be happier! No more expensive Quicken! (There's also a budgeting feature but I don't use that, yet.) I wouldn't mind seeing some of those visuals on the Accounts tab, kind of like a homepage for everything, but I'm very happy. So happy that I own it on the Windows & Android platforms, too, so I have it on every device! Being able to sync my data using OneDrive or Dropbox (rather than on a site you aren't sure of) is simply outstanding! And a dark mode was added well before iOS 13! (Plus, I imported over 15 years of data from Quicken without any problems!) To address someone's concern with having to pay on another platform: that doesn't concern me. Keep in mind that a developer has to know how to code on multiple platforms, including making equitable upgrades or bug fixes that may not be in the other OS for cross-platform use. (Ok, I get the point, but I'm thankful the developers figured out how to bring it to a new venue / audience, and I'm willing to reward them for that hard work...so that I don't have to keep feeding the expensive Quicken monster!) Plus, not sure how economically feasible it is for a small developer to implement cross-platform authentication. (Does that happen with Angry Birds? No!) Take advantage of the trial. You might find your needs are more simple than you thought. I truly can't recommend this enough! To the developers: Please keep up the excellent work! You have a fan, for life!
