A measure of stupidity
So, hellenic bank does an app for the internet banking which: 1. Needs authorization with bank to work - you don’t have to do it via browser 2. Resets authorization when you don’t launch it for some time, change network and so on - you do not have to do it via browser 3. Has limited functionality - it’s full in the browser 4. Requires you to buy a new phone because the user doesn’t have latest OS - worjs in browser. Question is - why in the world did hellenic do an app that is in every way worse or incomparable to it’s web counterpart? Well, either a definition of ‘stupidity’ is here, or somebody did shred some budgets?

This one easily takes a lead in ‘worst bank in the world’ competition. Completely unreliable, full of stupid mistakes and errors. For instance, no matter how I save the password to keychain, both this stupid app and web-site always mess up login and pass. It is like that for several years and these retards can’t fix it. Apple should penalize them for wrong usage of APIs as this is a completely bad experience. I can go on and on but the bottom line is NEVER USE HELLENIC. Run!

For money that I pay for maintenance this app very buggy and not usable, no functionality that have other EU banks. I will give only 1 star

I repeatedly have to call in to the call center, ONLY during business hours on weekdays, to authorize the app for payments and transfers. Is this going to happen every time the app is upgraded? Stupid process which inconveniences customers.

The app wasn’t example of top quality and bank wasn’t. At some point this had to sum up and it did. They are now authenticating transactions through this garbage. That means around each 5th transaction will go smoothly for you and everything else... well, not. This is clearly the point to change bank and forget about that bunch of loosers who pretend to be hi-tech but with their quality level it all just turns to be a pure digital nightmare. Awful, simply awful!

The newest version of the Hellenic Bank mobile app includes enhancements to the navigation of the app improving the accessibility to the more menu via multiple locations and the addition of the "Products" menu to the bottom navigation. Additionally customers can now download monthly account statements via the "Manage" option under the "Accounts" menu. The version also contains a number of fixes and updates to enhance your mobile banking experience.
