Gusto is a payroll services company, not a bank. Gusto savings goals, spending account, and debit card are issued by nbkc bank, Member FDIC. FDIC insurance is provided by nbkc bank, Member FDIC. Any balances you hold with nbkc bank, including but not limited to those balances held in Gusto accounts are added together and are insured up to $250,000 per depositor through nbkc bank, Member FDIC. If you have funds jointly owned, these funds would be separately insured for up to $250,000 for each joint account owner. nbkc bank utilizes a deposit network service, which means that at any given time, all, none, or a portion of the funds in your Gusto accounts may be placed into and held beneficially in your name at other depository institutions which are insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). Tax and W2 amount didn’t match
I found not correlation between W2 and the tax was withhold during the year. When I call the customer service they simply brushed me off with out any explanation why tax on paychecks and W2 not matching. I have no deductions withhold but taxes. I feel very uncomfortable to use this company to handle my money.
Best money app hands dow
Easy to use , don’t screw you over like others
Only supported on new phones
IOS16 is required. Apple did not issue IOS16 for some phones so this app will not work on phones which are not brand new. Other institutions with higher security need (aka national banks) are able to support phones running IOS16. Why can’t a payroll app figure out how to build an app that works?
Awesome service
I like this app it is easy to use, explains things as you go. It also has a breakdown for everything that runs through it.
Verification
I wish they would add an email verification feature. My phone number changed and I almost spent an entire two days trying to long trying to log into Gusto which prevented me from clocking in or checking my hours for almost two days. Luckily I ended up figuring it out.
Unable to use app
Quite disappointed that after putting in my log in information and setting up Touch ID, I can’t use this app as a non W2 employee. Hope the website doesn’t crash when I need it.
Pay trouble…
They know what you made the prior week and won’t tell you. If they don’t pay you they give you zero was to tell them. Leaves a little to be desired… from the employee stand point
