Menu items do not open
Will not open any of menu items. So I Deleted the app and then downloaded the app again thinking bugs would be addressed. Same result. Very poor.
This Old House
It’s an OK app. The UX is simple, but looks super dated. The content is somewhat unique from WSJ and threads from the Stocks app on the iPhone. One huge thing is, typical of Fisher investment, which I’m a client of, the attitude of everyone at the firm is friendly, arrogant and mildly condescending. Everything they say sounds “contrarian”, but actual outcome pretty much rides the MSCI index and really not better than the average index fund. I would still recommend their service since it’s not worse than an index fund and comes with bunch of useless seminars that calms the nerves, but just like the content of this app, kinda arrogant and smells like a really old house.
Pointless.
I’d your looking for an app to view your account to at FI, this isn’t it!. Go get Yahoo Finance or MarketWatch. If FI wanted an app with their brand on it, why not have one of their institutional partners brand their product with the FI logo?
Nothing here you can’t get on the website.
I tried clicking on “Media” and “Social,” and just got a black screen. Other things I clicked on brought me to the website. I mean great, I guess, but I know how to get there on my own. A FaceBook ad had shown me a retirement calculator (which I don’t need, but was curious about) and I couldn’t find it on the app. Pretty useless as apps go, actually.
Market info, not account info
There’s another review here which misses the point of this app, it’s a news aggregator on the markets, not a view into one’s account. As an aggregator, it serves exactly the purpose it is supposed to. To the other reviewer, get the appropriate app for where your $ resides. UBS or whatever.
No Account Info
This app is useless. It’s just information on investment advice that can be found just as easily on the net. I want and need quick access to my Fisher managed 401k and Roth IRA accounts. Get with the times. It’s 2018 for goodness sakes!
