End of Life
This app is clearly at "end of life" and should not be allowed to be sold in the app store anymore. There have been no updates for several years. Bugs are appearing in the interface and sync no longer works. Attempts to contact the developer via eamil and Twitter go without a repsonse. It is deeply unethical for the developer to leave the app on the store if they do not intend to support the app anymore.

United StatesSync issues and other bugs make it hard to love
Finances 2 has been my favorite personal accounting app for quite some time. A while back, the developer seemed intent on ironing out bugs and dialing in the user experience. Unfortunatley, it has been a year since the last update and there are still issues that make the app difficult to use at times. I understand that the developer is currently working on other projects (I love the Home app, by the way), but this tool which has become such an important part of my financial life feels like it has fallen to the wayside.

Sync no longer works on either Mac or iOS. Neither does restoring purchases on iOS. I have to assume that this app is no longer being maintained and will be looking elsewhere.

I bought this after reading all the great reviews. I'm an accountant, and I needed something simple for my own business, so I understand these programs. However after I painstakingly entered in 256 line items for the year 2020, I just wanted to generate a simple Income and Expense Statement. I couln't figure it out. I thought there might be a problem with the program that could easily be fixed. So I emailed the help email. Nothing... I emailed them again the next day. Still silence. I've emailed them everyday for six days and havn't heard a thing. I'm being completely ghosted by these people. Sure $40 isn't a lot of money, but I would expect to get some support for that. Maybe the company owner will read this and decide to start supporting his product.

I like thi app a lot. I specially like the Sync between my iPhone app and the Mac app. Only thing that I cannot figure out is how to add my Credit Card balances on here and have the balance go down as I make my payments. Aside from that I like it alot.

Problem: i love this app, but it only gets 3 stars because of annoyance, The app asking for restore purchase everytime i open the app.
