Interest calculated on the initial principal and also on the accumulated interest of previous periods of a deposit or loan. For example, if you start with $1000 in your savings account and each month you contribute $500 at 11% interest annually. After 40 years, guess how much the account will be worth. The answer, $4.38 Million! You're only putting in $500/month(the average car payment in America) at just 11% interest(Same interest the S&P 500 has averaged over the past 90 years). You don't have to be some big Wall Street broker to become a millionaire.
This app is the best one out.
So easy to use. I invest in stocks and i used to use a free investment calculator online. I had to go to the site and still punch in the numbers. This is so much easier to use. I love everything about it. Right to the point.

Good start. It really needs the withdrawal side to determine impact on portfolio. Additionally, it really needs to add in additional income stream inputs at specific years they become active (ie. Social security, pension start dates, windfalls, etc) Lastly, graph the data on those years vs. just a table produced at the bottom.

This app only asks for annual return rate and ask for compound frequency. If you choose monthly it will still only calculate annual. Need to be able to calculate monthly rate and give correct numbers after a year.

What's new in software version 1.5? + In version 1.3 there was an incorrect calculation that occurred when compounding the initial capital investment with no additional payments. Version 1.5 fixes this issue. + Interface Improvement for the iPhone XR and iPhone XS Max. + New touch bar that controls the "compound frequency" improves the user experience.
