UI does not allow user to submit a chargeback
Had several unauthorized transactions lately due to Citibank’s own credit card leak. Tried to submit a chargeback on the app but it doesn’t now allow me to agree with the terms and conditions of the chargeback process. Tried using the website and the UI is even worse. Called the hotline and waited for more than 1 hour before giving up. Terrible experience.
Avoid Citibank.
Avoid this app. Before when you had transactions to carry out, they would send you OTP which made purchases seamless, you were able to carry out transactions with no issues. Now with using the app to approve transactions for example topping up NETs card, often times the app is not available due to maintenance. It becomes very frustrating to carry out transactions because maintenance happens during peak Singapore hours. Go with a local Singapore bank and credit card.
One of the worst
This app is easily one of the worst from a usability perspective. The list of stupid design points is endless. One simple example you need to have a complex password, great no problem. I use a password generator to ensure I get a high entropy password BUT I can't paste that password into the field in the app as a result I create a password that just meets the criteria but is far less secure than the one created by my password manager. The list goes on and on. I'm cancelling my account.
