Excellent Quicken alternative
This is a great alternative to Quicken. When Quicken no longer supported my operating system I was already frustrated with paying yearly to use the app. I switched over to CheckBook Pro and have found it very easy to adjust to. There are differences and a slight learning curve but for my simple individual home use it has proven to be my best option,

Long time satisfied user, all the stars
I have used this app since Manage Your Money stopped being supported way back in the day. I got the original version and then upgraded to Pro and I think it's worth every penny and more. I love that there is the ability to sync from my laptop to my desktop so when I go on vacation I can continue my obsession of keeping my checkbook up to date. When I return, I sync them and check to make sure there are no double entries and I'm done. After being a banker for 38 years I know how a random error can happen, and I also don't trust my memory to track my outstanding payables. So this is the perfect, easy to use solution. Thanks for not making it subscription based or switching to cloud data storage. Cheers to many more years of not having to switch.
Much better than the free version
Better features in the free version. Used the free version for years, until it crashed suddenly. Bought the ro version so i wouldnt lose all my data. It Worked and amost everythingw a restored. A great alternative to expensive subscription based accounting apps, if you dont have t.
• Welcome the new Transfer button, near the top left of the Entry section. It’s easier than ever to start a new transfer between your Accounts. • The Schedule Reminder has always needed a Tomorrow option, but we took it to the nth and added Tomorrow plus Never. Now you can put off those Scheduled Entries until tomorrow or whenever you get a chance. • A column header got left out when exporting the current search results or all of your Accounts at once to Text or CSV. Everything lines up now. • Since version 2.7.7, the Date Created and the behind the scenes data for tracking duplicates when you import were not properly saved for some Entries. 2.7.9 updates your documents so the Date Created is correct and duplicate detection will work during future imports. • Also since version 2.7.7, newly-created Schedules could end up repeating daily. If you've gone back and made changes to these Schedules after creating them they’re already behaving as expected. 2.7.9 fixes any remaining Schedules created since 2.7.7 that you haven’t already changed. • Includes a few minor user interface fixes and adjustments.
