Pleasant Surprise How Well This App Works
Recently went looking for an app to track my Purchase, Maintenance, & Gas costs. Came across this app and saw it had an iOS companion app that syncs via iCloud and I went for it! Glad I did. I downloaded and reviewed the app and the options for creating additional data fields for what I want to track and I fine that it works just fine. What I have done in years past is scan in my receipts and save as PDF’s. This software allows you to view these files and attach it to a transaction as a photo for reference to the transaction. I hope they continue to improve and support both this app and the iOS app in the future. In the iOS version I wish the viewing field for notes were scalable or automatically sizes for the device. On my iPad Pro there is a lot of screen area available that could be used to see those text fields. Anyway Thanks KIWI Objects for making this available.

Any rudimentary excel spreadsheet will do what this program does. You must enter your receipts in chronological order. If you load receipts and then find that you missed one, the program will not let you go back and enter the missed receipt. Additionally, there are only a few categories to classify your receipts. I found that i must classify most of my receipts (other than gas) as “financial.” That does very little to help me understand my expenses.
