Budgetly is a privacy focused, simple monthly budget and transaction tracker. Set a monthly budget amount and each transaction you enter will track your goal progress. Break down your budget by category and see which areas you're spending too much. View your budget 'Health' over the lifetime of using the app to see how much you're over/under budget and which areas you can improve. Sync transactions between other local users of the app, no servers needed. Your data is not stored anywhere other than your physical device. Syncing is performed locally over bluetooth or wifi. Transaction data remains in your possession at all times. With the widget view and 3D touch, long press on the app icon to see a snap shot of your remaining balance for the month (optional). Browse prior months and performance with the Details view and see how you've progressed in managing your budget.
Finally, syncing without Big Brother
This is the only budgeting app I could find that doesn’t require a cloud service I don’t control to sync. I LOVE this. Never change it. I also love that there is a one-time unlock fee instead of the subscription model many aps are using these days, and a 1 week free trial of the unlocked version so you can be sure it does what you want before buying. But, unfortunately, it is missing some features that are key for me: - There is no way to change the expense categories. - There is only one total budget; I’d like a budget per expense category. - There is no concept of an account, therefore no way to record which account you used to pay an expense. - All the expense categories sync. It would be nice to select which expense categories and accounts to sync with each other device. So, it’s a good start, and I’ll be keeping an eye on it, but I can’t use it yet. I did pay to unlock, though, to encourage the developer to keep working on it. Honestly, I would happily pay $10 (vs. the $2 I just paid) for an app with local syncing + the features I just listed.

Fixed an issue where adding a transaction would fail if the locale of the device is not set to standard US format. Fixed some minor layout issues on the add/edit transaction pages on smaller devices
