Budge app is different than other financial apps. It doesn't sync with your bank. It won't chart your spending over time. It's intentionally simple to help you stay within your monthly budgets without any fuss. Create budgets and track your spending. That's it. If you share a budget with a spouse or partner, Budge app can help - it's easy to sync your budget between multiple Apple devices to help you both keep within your budget. You get two budgets for free, and for a small in-app purchase price you can upgrade to unlimited budgets. Syncing budgets with someone else requires a subscription. About the subscription: After the one-week free trial, this subscription automatically renews for $0.99 per month unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the trial period. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your App Store account settings after purchase. The subscription automatically renews unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Almost Perfect
I love this app so much. But for some reason the “reset spending” button doesn’t work for me so I have to manually re add the envelopes each month. Such a bummer because it’s otherwise perfect.
Not really shared.
You have to use the same login for different users (so ONE user) and all devices want you to pay separately. Account started on one device, logged in on another and still require me to pay. So if your definition of “shared” is using the same email and password for different people and paying separately for all devices then this is for you!
One major flaw.
I like how simple it is. I like how you only see the categories you create. I like how easy it is to enter expenses and see your balances left in each category. The problem is you can’t tell the app that your month is over and that the remaining balance needs to be added to the monthly budget amount. So if you have $1000 grocery budget for the month and you spend $800 in a month when you start a new month your beginning grocery balance should be $1200. The app does roll over unused money but for some strange reason it puts it in a generic rollover category. Fix the issue of running balances and deposits over a fixed period of time like bi- monthly Or monthly and it would be worth paying for. Sadly I will cancel my subscription until this feature is added.
EXACTLY what I was looking for!
I wanted a simple budgeting app that would allow me to enter my budgets then manually enter my purchases. This is exactly what I needed and so easy to use.
