Doesn’t work
Lets me sign in but won’t accept it. Says I am signed in but don’t have an account?!?! That makes absolutely no sense. So in reality mediacom/ xtream lies to their custmers when they say you can download the app and stream shows from your tablet or other device.
Worthless
This app is completely useless. Does not work most of the time and does not work ever unless you’re at home on your own WiFi. What exactly is the point here of having this?
Invest in improving performance
It would be wonderful if this app could work more than 3 nights in a row. Babysitting MediaCom and this app is exhausting.

I do not understand at all, how an Internet company as big as Mediacom is along with Cable and everything else, has such horrible, horrible apps for us to use! This app is extremely useless. Besides, the most annoying thing, is I have to login every single freaking time I open up the app… There is no need for me to have to type in my password every time I login, especially when the box is checked to stay, logged in! I can only use this app in my home, so if someone wants to steal my phone and go think they can watch anything outside of my home that is not near my TiVo box, then they need to work for Mediacom! Please fix this horrible app!
What good is it for
The app is useless if you can’t use it away from home. Waste of time to download.
Worthless as a streaming app if you travel
Other TV providers offer apps so you can stream your programming, that you are paying for, wherever you are, and on whoever’s internet you are connected. Not Mediacom. They require you to be connected to your Mediacom Wi-Fi. You can’t go to the neighbors and use their Wi-Fi. You certainly can’t be in a hotel somewhere and stream the cable you pay for on this app. And you can’t use a different internet provider at all. It’s only meant as a way for you to not run a cable through your house, but you have to have Mediacom internet for it to work.
