When will we get movie recommendations?
The app says movie recommendations are coming soon, but it has said this for over a year. When will that feature be added?
Pretty in pink
I downloaded this app hoping to watch my favorite movie and tv shows but once I logged in I couldn’t watch anything it just said when I pressed on it watchlist
Excited about the future of this app.
WHAT’S GOOD? 1. Hands down, this app features one of the best interfaces available. 2. It’s easy to see and subsequently manage titles that I’ve rated and/or marked as not interested. 3. Being able to manage titles with multiple lists is very useful. 4. Dark mode/theme is appreciated. 5. Ability to filter by streaming services is very important. It works well in this app. 6. It’s easy to find what to watch in this app. The recommendation (percentage) looks good and works well. 7. This app is a perfect balance of recommendations and self managing (when you already know what you want to see). 8. This app makes it so easy to report errors and submit feedback. This is very important and I appreciate the options. This means the developer is very proactive in fixes and improvements. ——- WHAT’S BAD? 1. The Achilles heel in this app is its lack of information. I would say of all existing titles, this database is missing about 5-10%. This is a mix of older titles and upcoming titles. It may not be much in the big picture, but anything less than 100% means reliance on another app. Furthermore, deeper information such as episode lists, is hit and miss. 2. No way to track progress in a series. I can live without, but it sure would be handy. It would make this app a one-stop-shop. 3. Buggy in some spots. For example, I found the “add to watchlist” button unresponsive on some titles. 4. The names and/or icons for some streaming services are outdated. 5. I’ve found some inaccuracies in the available streaming services for some titles. ——- SUMMARY: In my experience, there is no perfect app. They either have the largest collection of data or have a fantastic interface. This app is the latter. But… it’s not far off from having all the data. As a tv junkie, I can’t use this app full time until the former is corrected, but I’m keeping it on my radar. It has the potential to become the best ever.

It has the potential to become the best ever. 1. No uniform way to mark, view and manage “not interested” titles. 2. No series tracking interface to monitor progress in a series. There are workarounds, but all are cumbersome and not user-friendly. 3. No multitasking support or split screen support for tablets. 4. While I praise the “Where To Watch” streaming interface, the information provided is often wrong. 5. No way to report bugs or provide feedback within the app. There are methods that often require multiple steps outside the app. This likely hurts IMDb because it doesn’t utilize the full strength of the IMDb user army. 6. No way to multiple-select items for an action. This is inconvenient for power-users. 7. Actions require a lot of tapping. Limited swipe options and no long-press/touch options. Menus to submenu actions require a lot of finger traveling on the screen (top to bottom).
Exactly what I was looking for
I’m particular about my shows. I will take hours to research my next watch, and give up pretty quickly into new shows when I can tell they aren’t for me. I’ve long looked for an accurate recommender to help me find my perfect show, and the shows I have watched from this app i’ve loved. Super user friendly too!
A+
Uber helpful. Love having multiple lists.
