My iOS app and tvOS one are not syncing despite being linked to the same iCloud account. What gives?

Have you given up on this? iOS app was recently updated. The tvOS app wasn’t even though after loading a playlist it’s impossible to play anything and the app just hangs

Downloaded the app today and was unable to retrieve my playlist. Contacted support numerous times and kept receiving what seemed to be an automated response. No help whatsoever. Very disappointed.
