Outdated and broken
Coming from D&D Beyond, I’m disappointed in Roll20 as a whole. Everything is a mess and you can’t easily import an existing character sheet at all. The app is even worst. Last updated 4/13/22, the app is now completely broken. Can’t pull up character sheets at all. Sad thing is I’m locked into a campaign where everyone else uses Roll20. Dumb.
Dear devs
Please give this program the love and support it deserves.
It won’t work
App wont let me play games
I understand why they scrapped the idea
It's a bad app. No wonder they scrapped it. It's really unfortunate because it could have been really good.
Worst of the web app in mobile form
The character sheet is useless on the web app. Our DM uses Beyond for that because that is what they do well. What roll 20 does well is everything else - the table-top map, the chat thread, the journal entries. Where are these key features? The developer absolutely needs to toss this garbage and redesign the app based on the strengths of the platform - not is greatest weakness. You are featuring the worst of what you have to offer.
Unfinished
They need to drop serious cash to make this work. It seems cobbled together and it barely works making to go back to the desktop version in order to do what the app cannot. Plus it gives no real indication on what you must do on the desktop side in order to make it work. Roll20, save your reputation. Take this out of the App Store hire someone to fully develop and app for you then come back when it’s working.
Unable to Use
This app has always been just terrible all around. I have never been able to use it at all. I have a character in roll 20 and able to access on the web version but when I log into the app, nothing shows up. So I haven’t been able to use this app after a few times of attempted trouble shooting. Just stick it to the web version tbh.
