I bought the karaoke machine and it came with a free voucher that I need to put into the app but the app doesn’t have an option to enter in my code. SMH.
United StatesThe $38.51 MagicSing Karaoke app destroyed my iPhone 15 Pro Max - 12/24/23
OK, I purchased the MagicSing Karaoke app from the App Store for $38.51. BUT, after I installed it, sadly, I was no longer able to access my microphone - even from most of my other apps, which was quite disturbing, frustrating, not to mention - disheartening, disappointing. I even spent all morning today, 12/24/23, and into the afternoon, doing several total reinstalls of my iPhone trying to get my microphone back, to no avail. This is unacceptable, especially when it cost $38.51 for an dumb app that broke my phone!!! BUYER BEWARE!!! I’ve already reported this to Apple, who’ve assured me that they will have this taken care of within 48 hours, including my refund which won’t even pay for the half of it, let alone the aggravation and frustration.

First and foremost, the app itself is a treasure trove of karaoke fun. The song library is vast and diverse, covering genres from pop to rock, country to K-pop, and everything in between; lots of LSS and Birit songs😊. The search and selection process is user-friendly, and the sound quality is top-notch, making you feel like you're on stage at a concert. It’s great for anyone who loves music, whether you're a seasoned performer or just looking to have some fun. I like that the MagicSing karaoke system is portable and easy to bring to friends and family parties and get togethers and can be hooked and set up in minutes. Well worth the money I spent!🎤🌟

I'm confused. I have the microphone enabled for the app in phone Settings, but I still can't connect in the app. It won't let me. Do I have to use the tangible microphone to sing?

While I appreciate that you can use the app to sing on iOS devices, I’d like just the ability to control my karaoke machine and NOT be prompted to log in at every launch or play the song on the device. Categorizing the songs would be a great help, i.e. sorting the NEW tab, grouping the song by artist, tempo, style, voice-guided, etc. Having and sorting by play counts (personal and worldwide) would also be great to show what songs we or many haven’t tried, as well as finding out who and what is the most popular. Needs native TV / tvOS support. Lastly, there doesn’t appear any way to contact the developer directly. The App Support link on the App Store product page just goes to Facebook, not even their Facebook page, and their Developer Website goes to their YouTube page. Can’t surf to their website and no responses to email or social media accounts.

There’s way too many bugs that still need to be fixed. I have had my karaoke machine for over 3 years now and I have been subscribed for 2+ years now for the full music experience, but it still times out when we try to use our karaoke machine. A window pops up and says, “Server Timed Out” or “Error”. New songs are hard to find as new, because the old “new” songs are still labeled as new even after a song list update. I have to keep reconnecting my phone app to the karaoke machine a few times before it actually stays connected. I love this concept of using an app instead of a physical song list book, but it still has it’s glitches and bugs.
