Your smartphone will also be charged through the USB cable.
Entertainment App suggestion
I use my iPhone with the Rover technology. I just can't cast Waze onto the screen, otherwise I have great capabilities. The key is to plug into the old school port in the cubby. Don't use the USB port. Once powered, and it's only for power, no data, Hit radio Hit source Hit Bluetooth or iPhone and now whatever you play on your phone you will hear on the car system. I listen to podcasts and it works great. Blessings Rick

The older version of this app worked well but since they updated the app, none of the remote options work. When the wind chill is -11 degrees out, it would be helpful to have the remote starter. We’re a loyal Range Rover owner but the developers need to spend time updating the app to be on par with their beautiful cars.

This is the absolute worst app ever! It barely works half the time. It says that the car is currently in use when it’s really parked so now the app is unable to turn the car on. This happens 4 times out the week. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THE LOUSY APP! I’m forced to get an automatic starter installed in my Range Rover from. 3rd party company since Landrover cannot get this right!
