With the Aer Lingus Play app you can you can personalize and view your in-flight entertainment content and create playlists prior to a flight. Once onboard, just connect your device with the in-flight entertainment screen and enjoy your flight. Once you connect your device, you can also use it to control your seatback monitor, as a second screen to watch live television, and track your flight with the inflight map.
Don’t waste your time
Tried to make this app work on flights from San Francisco to Dublin and back again. Didn’t work in February, March or April 2024
Did absolutely nothing
Aer Lingus needs to figure this out as it’s a terrible customer experience. The screen on the seatback says “easy peasy” to connect. Just enter this code. But even after following the instructions very carefully, connecting to Aer Lingus WiFi, etc., there is no place to enter the code. It gives the customer the sense that something is broken. If I were just to use the screen in front of me and not this app, I wouldn’t think anything was broken.

Rubbish
does not connect
instructions on screen and in-app are terrible. They give you a pairing code, but bluetooth does not connect. another review indicates it i uses wifi, which doesn't make sense at all. i think the system is meant to use bluetooth but it's just broken. junk app.
Junk
Don’t bother. This app is junk.
LOL. #Fail
I thought Ireland was a tech savvy country? Was this app designed and built in Afghanistan? It’s about as useful as a wet blanket. Can I get my 25mb back?
Couldn’t get past the logo
The app does an excellent job of showing you the Aer Lingus logo. Unfortunately, I don’t classify a splash page with a logo as “in flight entertainment”. F-
