Would be great...if it worked
I can “download” the book and see the table of contents, but I can’t see any text. Very frustrating, as it is almost law school finals season.
Same update description, same broken app, same one star rating.
You’d think after two years of “reading feedback” that the app would get better, but nope. We’re still having to use the same app, with a more than deserving 1.8 star rating. First step to improvement: stop the app from crashing. Second step: look into pdf formatting since .ePub doesn’t seem to be working out. OR just pull it from the App Store and forget it ever happened.
Horrible app
Horrible horrible horrible app
Absolutely awful interface
This app provides very limited control over the audio product you purchase. I’m listening to a CivPro audiobook (which itself is great) but I can’t pause or play with the control on my headphones, which is annoying if I’m out running or walking. I need to open my phone and pause in the app. The app also doesn’t let you control the speed of the audiobook, so you’re just stuck at x1 speed.
This app proves why antitrust law should exist
I don’t ever leave reviews for apps, but this one is proof positive about why antitrust laws need to exist. Accessing content on it requires going on the website, and then selecting a small check box on the website, then waiting to download the whole thing, which, by the way, only happens if the app is open, so don’t switch to another app. Selecting the material is then cumbersome. West has no competition for this app and so has no incentive to make it better. If anyone at West is listening, hire a human factors engineer for your interfaces, please.
I didn’t have expectations, but was still disappointed
I didn’t have expectations for this app, but was woefully disappointed to learn that this app can’t even load your ebook library. It is literally just an app that lets you sign in with your credentials to look at an empty “bookshelf”
Worthless
I normally don’t write reviews, but this app is absolute trash beyond what I’ve seen before. It doesn’t update your library, so your downloaded content never appears. Honestly, you’re better off slamming your head into a concrete wall than using this app. Both are equally effective in getting your downloaded content offline; however, with the wall method, you’ll spend less time before you give up (hopefully).
