Do you ever struggle to make a group of children silent for a while? With "Too Loud Kids Noise Meter & Timer" keeping the kids quiet will become fun and competitive. You set the timer duration, meter sensitivity and start the timer. While the time passes the voice meter measures and graphically shows the noise level. Behind the voice meter there is an animal which reacts to the voice level. When it is silent the animal looks happy and fun, but when the noise gets louder the animal and the background landscape is reacting accordingly to show graphically that the noise is too high. Features: • Voice meter with indicator showing if the noise level is low or high • Possibility to adjust the sensitivity and dampening of the voice meter – this app can be used not only when you want the kids to be absolutely quiet, but also when you accept a certain level of noise • Timer – you can set any duration from 10 seconds to 1,5 hour. • 6 background themes (cat with a house, monkey in a jungle, dolphin in a sea, lion on a desert, penguin on the South Pole) • Positive and negative marks – awarded when kids are silent or too loud • Sound effects • Possibility to record your own sound effects • Works with Bluetooth devices (speaker and recorder) We created this app to make "Be quiet!" sound less abstract for our own children. We found it extremely useful and we do hope that you will find it useful too. If you have any feedback or suggestions for new features please contact us. We would be happy to hear from you to be able to improve this app.
Too many ads
I do speech therapy in a school setting and was hoping to use this app with some of my students. Unfortunately, I don’t think it will be a fit for me. While I understand that this is a free app, I felt like it was overkill to have an ad as I turned on AND turned off the timer. There was also an add when I attempted to change the settings. I don’t have time in a 15-30 minute session to be dealing with ads that frequently. I know I could pay to remove ads, but there are also websites the offer the same service for free and I spend a lot of money as is on materials for my students.
My favorite noise monitoring app.
I wish it was still going strong. It looks like it’s not being supported anymore.
Okay..
Hmm, these reviews are kinda rude. You can turn down the sensitivity in the settings. USEFUL INFORMATION: The settings button is in the *BOTTOM LEFT HAND CORNER* If that information wasn’t useful, then sorry. But the settings button.. IT’S THERE

Paid to remove the ads and ads are still there
I love this app but very disappointed that I paid $3 to remove the ads and they are still there. Every time I click on the contact us button, the app crashes.
Too loud game
Keeps on kicking me out of the game and too sensitive
Too sensitive
I got this to use on my siblings. We where sitting in a quite room, they where doing a puzzle and not talking and it was still reaching red! For context, there was five of us, in a quite room, sitting. So I turned it down to 30 (for context, that’s 40% of the default) and it was still to sensitive. So I went into my room, by myself, and sat silently, and it still registered up to orange. I kept fiddling, and, bottom line, it’s to sensitive, you’ll have to personally fiddle until it’s properly adjusted.
