Very okay
Used for TCRN. There’s only 170 questions. Many of which are poorly written or badly formatted, which makes it hard to take it seriously. I also used materials from PDB Nurse Education and I’d recommend those wayyyyy over this, especially for the price.
Why the changes
Prior to 1day ago was not a subscription- was a great app and a great tool. But with recent format change as well as the desire for capitalism and subscription vs a true desire to allow the learner to use the app as a purchased item like a book. This change would limit any other springer publishing app that I might consider.
Can’t read whole questions or rationale at times
Sometimes the whole question does not show up or the rationales are not fully readable. I tried scrolling down but there was not feature that allowed me to do this. Good questions
Dated, obscure, and inaccurate
Clearly written using dated information. The app is littered with typos, and a lot of the questions are very poorly written and bizarre.
TCRN
Overall, I recommend this app. It has a lot of great information. The questions are in depth and offer great explanations. I didn’t like that I couldn’t click on the topics and answer questions like I’ve been able to on other apps similar to this one. I passed the TCRN and am thankful I had this app handy when I needed to review.
Super Useful
This app has been incredibly useful in my studying. The quiz questions were very useful and I really appreciated the explanations. Definitely worth paying for the full version. I do wish there were photos associated with the e-Book as I had to refresh myself on anatomy and what certain injuries pertained to.
Just passed my TCRN exam
Couldn’t have done it without this app. Highly highly recommend. Could’ve used this app as my sole study tool and passed!
