Great app, but Bible Not Working
I turned on the Church settings. When I go to Bible though there is no table of contents. If I search for a word it comes up with books of the bible. I just can't browse them.
Great App for What it is
I use this app all the time to check conjugations/declensions. It also comes with other handy resources. Two things I wish it included: (1) a dark mode. I feel like that could be pretty simple for this kind of app since it doesn't inclue a ton of media; (2) a better dictionary to choose from. I feel like the one included is diffuclt to navigate. However, I do like all of the glosses that are included in the parser tool.
Love it BUT
I love this app especially for practicing conjugating verbs, but, as another person commented, the Bible section which has its own tab at the top still does not display the actual Vulgate Bible, which is really disappointing because I would like to make flashcards using this text.
Needs a fix
Great app, when it works. However, for over a year now the Bible option has not shown the books, chapters, or verses on the left side. It’s just empty. Customer service has yet to respond. I can search by Latin words through the Bible, but selecting a book without searching for a particular word or phrase is not possible. Not an issue on the iPad, just Macbook. Reinstall has not worked either. Everything else works perfectly. Easily 5 stars but no customer support for this likely simple fix.
Love it
I love this app. Use it all of the time. The only improvement for me would be to make the LS searchable (i.e. the ability to search for terms within long definitions in the LS).
Excellent Resource
I was quite thrilled to see SPQR made available for the Mac. I have it on my iPhone & iPad. I do quite a bit of Latin, both translating from and into. SPQR on my Mac allows me to work there now too.
Fantastic
I am a Classics major, and I use this app all of the time. The “parser” is extremly helpful. This app has cut down my homework time significantly.
