Description
Learn with Flashcards
This app is intended to improve your vocabulary in French, German and Spanish by doing flashcard quizzes with the cards chosen from 1504 cards for each of these three languages. The cards are reversible so, for example, German speakers can improve their English. However, most cards are blocked in this free version (only 90 cards are available). The full version - called "Repeat Learn" - will give you access to all the cards and all the audio. A grading system is incorporated whereby cards that were translated correctly in the quizzes get a higher grade. The user should repeat the quizzes to get all cards at the highest grade. For each card, audio clips are included for both the front and the back (thus giving approximately 4 hours of audio for each language - in the full version of the app). The audio for the French and Spanish was recorded by first language speakers, the English audio was recorded by a second language speaker and the German audio was recorded by a third language speaker. There is also a pre-loaded deck of 250 flags of nations and territories of the world (with some interesting information on location and population estimates) and a pre-loaded deck with the multiplication tables and also a user deck where you can add cards of your own. You can add or modify a deck or add and modify cards in a deck. Therefore, the application has all the capabilities of a flashcard maker. You thus have the option to initially inspect the capabilities of the full version of the app ("Repeat Learn") with this version.

8 months agoItalian cards (without audio) were included and the logic for generating sets for a quiz was improved. The number of unblocked cards was reduced to 50. To get the limited set of cards for Italian, the user will have to uninstall the app and then re-install it again - however, these actions will also delete the data the users could have entered in the personal list. To get the full (unblocked) list of 1500 flashcards, get the relevant app RepeatLearnFrench, or RepeatLearnSpanish, or RepeatLearnGerman, or RepeatLearnItalian on the App Store.
