Problem with access
It works well in displaying info from PS, but the login process is very complicated and buggy. I and some other people I’ve brought this up with find it too restrictive and slow to use, since we usually check it between - or five minutes on the way - to classes. The process of having to log in and go through duo mobile every time, then back to PS hoping that the authentication doesn’t bug so you have to do it again multiple times is the main problem. There’s too many steps to get in, which also adds for more opportunity for interruptions, especially since you access it through multiple parties. Although the Duo prompt provides a box to tick to stay logged in, it neither works on the app nor the website, citing an error or that you need to enable cookies whether they already are or you’re unable through the app. Though I’m not a professional, couldn’t the app have a feature to authorize a frequently used/specified device itself, like how snapchat or google does? After all and for security’s sake, information in there isn’t the most sensitive or localized, and you already have to log in and authorize for it some how. Again, the app’s main features work fine, it’s just the redundancy of the login process that makes it so difficult and frustrating to use.
