Help your child learn to read independently. In both American English and British English. They must then work out what the word says and find the image that relates to the word. Once correct the word will then be spoken. To change the sound from American English to British English ensure the language of your device is set to either English or British English under Settings/General/International/Language.

I am a Kindergarten Teacher in Oklahoma. My students have been struggling with CVC words. We have played hands on games, read words together, and practiced through drills. To add one more element I purchased this application. It is simple, but exactly what I needed. The children push each letter and hear each sound. The middle e sound and o sound needed additional reinforcement for my students. This game was perfect. For $.99 you get your money's worth in this game. I do recommend.

I teach SPED K so this is perfect for my kiddos. The only feature I feel is lacking is it does not sound out the complete word BEFORE the child chooses a picture. It will sound out the word AFTER the child correctly chooses the picture. Other than that, GREAT app!!
