In the Periodic Table application you will find a huge amount of data about chemical elements for free. You will learn a lot of new and useful for yourself, no matter you are a schoolboy, student, engineer, housewife or a person of any other provisions that does not have a refresher to Chemistry. The chemistry falls into to number of the most important sciences and is one of the main school objects. Its studying begins with the Periodic Table. Interactive approach to a training material is more effective than classical. As in it technologies which became the family for the modern pupils are used. Periodic Table - is a free application for iPhone which displays the entire Periodic Table at startup interface. The table has a long-form approved by the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) as the core. Besides the Periodic Table of chemical elements, you can use the Table of solubility. - When you click on any element provides information that is constantly updated. - For most of the items have an image. - For more information, there are direct links to Wikipedia for each item. - Table solubility - To find any element you can use the search. The search engine is not choosy to the registry or writing style search. - You can sort the items in 10 categories: • Alkaline earth metals • Other nonmetals • Alkali metals • Halogens • Transition metals • Noble gases • Semiconductor • Lanthanides • Metalloids • Actinides Elements of the selected category will be listed in the search results and are highlighted in the table on the main application screen.
Great job!
I like all of its features, especially the URL link of Wikipedia at the top of all of the elements' descriptions. If you're a curious person don't doubt to use this app and spend your time learning new things.
Very good
Honestly, this is a really good app. It’s simple, and has a lot of features. It’s also useable with the free version, unlike other apps.
Version for phone good, but bad for watch
I love this version for the Periodic-Table, especially the layout and the graphics. They are very well done. However, there is a major problem with the version for the Apple Watch. Whoever ported over the element data for the Apple Watch version mixed up numbers of neutrons versus protons for at least the first few groups of the periodic table. That would be groups one through at least group four. I haven’t checked them all. I have not recommended this to my students at least for the watch version, since it’s very misleading on those points. Hopefully they will correct this version for the watch. Five stars for the iOS phone version, and 3 stars for the iOS watch version. Hence the average of 4 stars.
Best
This app teaches you so much. I don’t know how I don’t not learn from this and I’m only like 9 to 10 years old.
I Use It All The Time
I work in the natural health industry and consult this app frequently to educate both myself and others, particularly on the very important topic of the close-valence substitution effect that is called “isosterism” in the field of chemistry. Along those lines, this app allows me to very conveniently see what elements are in a given column or immediately next to each other and thereby exhibit the property of isosterism, wherein they will interfere and compete with each other for use in various biochemical effects.
Amazing app!
This app has been extremely helpful in chemistry classes. Would be amazing if atomic mass was on th3 main view! Edit: thanks for the response! I had no idea about this. Thanks for the amazing app!
Essential for Chemistry Students
Honestly, when I first downloaded this app, I was just expecting a bland table just saying what elements are on there, without even a description. However, I was very wrong, as this app is packed full of useful information, and even som hypothetical ones, with estimations that are genuine. It shows you all about its structure, its formation of particles and a very precise atomic weight, among a ton of other things. You don't even need the pro version to get all the basic information (which isn't even "basic" as it already informative) but it sms like it would still help more. The layout of the app is also nice and easy to navigate through, and I am surprised this is not advertised at all. This would be a very good app for students learning the complex world of Chemistry. Keep up the amazing work!
