Great app! Simple yet effective.
I love how this app is very engaging with different topic conversations. Contrary to what one reviewer said, the length of each lesson is perfect (about 15 min). The best thing about this app is it makes you talk! And you will remember the words and way to say things naturally. I also love how straightforward it is. No bells and whistles. My only wish is for the accent to be changed to Latin American Spanish.

I’ve used a lot of different language apps to learn Spanish and it always feels like I’m just doing vocabulary lessons and not actually speaking. With this app I feel words sticking in my brain and I’m able to put together extended sentences that I would not imagine to have used before. I also studied Spanish for 4 years in grade school but this app gives me the conversational side I’ve always needed. 10/10

I am very glad to have found this app. It's the first one I've wanted to stick with. I like it especially because it makes me form new sentences on the fly, a task that is quite challenging in the real world. I also like the practice it gives me in pronunciation.
United StatesWorks ~ But Two Major Flaws
1) The lessons are two long. The result: The new material never gets engaged with because I'm tired and stop. Then, I have to restart, which makes me even more tired, so the lesson never gets completed. Solution: Break up lessons into segments that you can click on; to cover material at the end without repeating everything. 2) Speech recognition and time wasted: This is the most serious flaw. The speech recognition has huge problems, often labelling the speech incorrect when it's not. But this might not be a big deal, except that there is time paused while it waits for you to repeat it. This makes the lesson longer, and your never going to get it right because the speech recognition isn't working correctly in the first place. Solution: In settings, allow a toggle for shutting off the delay, or the programme realises something is wrong and says, 'We'll keep going', then disables the pausing for a while. My recommendation: Nice app, but it's not ready yet. Needs more development.

First of all, it demolished me on my Spanish, which is a good thing, because I need the feedback to improve. It made me talk. Overall Problem: Poor UX But strangely excellent as a learning app. List for Improvement: 1) I suggest the plain Saxon voice be replaced by a more neutral accent. Someone who speaks a mid-Atlantic or even mild British. Think Kelsey Grammar of Frasier as a model. 2) I can live with it, but some of the phrases I spoke in response were correct, but the AI wants only one specific answer: It can't accept multiple or differing, yet correct input. 3) The app is a little austere for my tastes. The one thing this app really did get right, which surprisingly a lot of others failed: The pronunciation and accent of the Spanish speaking AI woman, is 100% spot on. That is exactly how a person speaking Spanish would sound like. My recommendation: This, unlike many others, is a reasonable app for learning Spanish, as long as you can tolerate some of its annoyances. It does get you to speak and practice out loud, and corrects you.

This app offered more than your typical ‘learn-the-word’ lessons, it was a great language tool that immersed you in the conversation. Unfortunately, it’s cost exceeded what I am willing to pay when I can use other apps for free.
