This app provides access to Learning Ally’s library of human-read audiobooks, offering an extensive selection of books students want and need to read, including bestsellers, classic literature and textbooks. Now students have interactive learning tools geared to help them succeed, including: highlighted text synced with the audio narration, speed control, bookmarking, highlighting, and note-taking. Learning Ally membership is required to use this app. Learning Ally is for students with dyslexia or other reading deficits who struggle with decoding, fluency or comprehension, who are blind or visually impaired, or who have a physical disability that prohibits them from reading standard print. It would be five stars, but.
Audiobook reading can be a wonderful way to immerse yourself in a story or learn something new while on the go. But due to the randomly stopping of audiobook we are not able to enjoy it. In the other hand it will be nice to be able to control the pause and forward of book with the head phone. This took me a while, so please respond
this stuff is good, but
When I first found this back-and-forth grade. Instantly fell in love with it even though I need to warn you that there's barely anything on IMSA. And some of the books are a little crappy, but whoever made this thank you.
These audiobooks keep stopping when I haven’t touched my phone
🙁🙁
WORST MF APPP EVER
Ugh don’t get it ducks
issues with VoiceOver
This app needs a complete makeover to make it accessible. If I search for and add books I can't delete them if there is no bookshelf information. I get an error message rather than options to remove from bookshelf or device. when that is the case, I wonder how the book got in the catalog in the first place. I need to use my computer and navigate the lousy website to find the book and possibly delete it. Last week I called tech support and the woman I spoke with had no clue about VoiceOver. Even after I told her I couldn't see at all she kept referring to colors and images I can't see. She said she would refer me to someone who knows VoiceOver and that person never called me back. The app and website need a complete accessibility audit and overhaul. When using the app focus is unreliable and the menu structure is poorly organized. The recommended books should be in its own tab. There should be a list view so a person can swipe vertically and then an actions option for each list item. As things are I need to execute numerous swipe gestures left and right and hope focus is reliable and that I don't get caught in a keyboard trap. yould would think a nonprofit agency would be familiar with accessibility principles and assistive technology blind people use. My observation is that the app is designed for people who can see who happen to have a reading disability rather than a person with no vision who wants to listen to a book. The app is inefficient and frustrating to use and the website is even worse. There are custom controls which don't work with a screenreader and unlabeled links.
IT did not let me sign in
I have an account at school but then when I try it here it doesn’t work.
