Machine generated speech uses the English alphabet snd phoneme system, not the Welsh! “F” is pronounced as “F” as in “office,” not “V” as in victory (as it should be). The word “the” is translated to “i” instead of the proper Welsh “y,” and worse!—it gets pronounced with the English “i” as in “eyeball” instead of the Welsh “u” as in “umbrella…” I could go on and on about how WRONG this app is, and I haven’t used it for more than 5 minutes! I had hoped that this would give me an alternative way of practicing my Welsh, but I am deleting this immediately and going back to Duolingo and Say Something in Welsh where things may not always be correct, but at least they aren’t dead wring most of the time!!! AVOID THIS APP IF YOU WANT TO LEARN WELSH!!!
