It’s a great app for adding vocabulary. I think if the UI was updated and more verbs were added it would be even better. Otherwise, I have no complaints. Great learning tool.

Pros: 1. Lots of vocabulary. 2. Slightly exaggerated pronunciation points which is essential for things like the “R” and double “L” sounds. 3. Great algorithm for reviewing. 4. Cheap if you get the extended vocabulary. CONS: 1. Sometimes difficult when spelling words because the text is relatively small. I’ve typed “l” for “I” and vice versa numerous times. The way this app presents and reviews the vocabulary is highly conducive to long-term retention. I took about three weeks away and it was initially too difficult upon my return, but very quickly adjusted so there was minimal time wasted. They have a website for grammar that also looks good, but it was too a bit expensive for me considering I don’t have any deadlines to meet. I’ve used DuoLingo (free and paid) and Rosetta Stone (free and paid) and the Wilingua method is better designed.

There are so may words and categories on this app, it's an awesome way to expand vocabulary and has oral pronunciation, spelling with article, and pictures for each term. I wish it were easier to navigate to different categories on the iPad- navigating on iPhone is much better. I also wish there were a way to practice existing words without adding new ones. Overall very satisfied, especially since it is free and you can do it at your own pace.
