Write Java code directly on your iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch! This app is ideal for learning and testing code snippets! Java is a general-purpose programming language that is class-based and object-oriented. It is intended to let application developers write once, run anywhere (WORA), meaning that compiled Java code can run on all platforms that support Java without the need for recompilation. Java applications are typically compiled to bytecode that can run on any Java virtual machine (JVM) regardless of the underlying computer architecture. Features: - Compile and run your program - View program output or detailed error - Custom keyboard for easy input of frequently used characters - Optimized for connecting with external physical/bluetooth keyboard - Advanced source code editor with syntax highlighting, bracket completion and line numbers - Import files from your personal iCloud Drive account and export files that you create. Limitations: - Internet connection is required for compilation - Maximum program running time is 20s - Some file system, network and graphics functions may be limited - This is a batch compiler; interactive programs are not supported. For example, if your program provides an input prompt, enter the input in the Input tab prior to compilation.
Absolute tripe! Doesn’t run Java.
I downloaded this app because I was interested in coding and taking a few classes. At first I thought that my programming skills were just bad and that’s why it wasn’t running lines, but when I downloaded the other apps and ran the same lines my code worked. This app can’t even run the most basic of code “consel.log (“Hello”)”. Even the example lines they show you don’t work. Whatever this is, it’s not Java. You’re better off downloading literally any other app. You’d get better programing power if you wrote all of your code down in a physical journal rather than this app.
add split option for output and input
the app is really good. I would prefer to add an option to split the output and input ,so we can see them both.
Good but..
Is there a way to pull from GitHub?
Too Many Ads
This is the first and likely only review I’ll ever write on the app store. This app had way too many pop-up ads to be legitimately useful. Adding on, it’s really only useful for simple programs, nothing more complicated than while and for loops. If it wasn’t for the ads, I might have been able to overlook that, but I’ve seen one too many of them. Nothing against ads, but please don’t make them pop-up randomly when I’m in the middle of typing!
Full screen ads
Downloaded this to mess around with, and immediately uninstalled when I was hit with a full screen ad while editing code for some random p2w game...no thank you on both accounts. There’s probably a better app like this out there everyone. Use that instead.
Frustrating.
This compiler is so frustrating to work with. There are also too many pop-up ads.. It can execute a simple Java program, but this app isn't suitable for any serious programming. It can't read any data from files. There is an input screen, but it won't allow any interactivity. It could allow multiple classes, but they must be written in a single page that must include the default main procedure.
SO. MANY. ADS.
I can't even code god there are so many ads.
