Needs work
I really wanted to love this. As most people like me are using this on a phone they need to consider how things display in small format. Trying to figure out hand shape is really hard. I don't need to see half the persons body to id a letter. I need the hand bigger within the field. The person who signs the phrase has such long beautiful nails she does not display the letter the way its usually seen confusing that part. With some improvements it will be perfect.
Thank you for being you!!
Really enjoying the lessons. I am practicing because one of my best friends kids uses sign language to help communicate and I don’t want to fall out of practice in between our visits. Please keep this available it’s been a fun tool!!
One problem
Before I say the problem, I want to point out that I recommend only using this app after learning a little bit of asl from YouTube or another source. I think it’s important to master the greetings, basic conversation terms, and word order before the nouns, verbs and adjectives (which is what this app mostly teaches) since you use them more often in sentences. The app also just generally feels better at helping you retain and test yourself on knowledge rather than actually learn it for the first time Altogether it’s a good app, especially for it being free. But in the “family” words section, “my” and “mine” are the same sign. Which makes sense, except they’re counted differently in the app. Like, for example, a question might show me the sign and ask “what word does this translate to?” And I’ll just have to go with a 50/50 chance of getting the right word since both “my” and “mine” are choices. It should do “my/mine” put together as a single answer choice.
HER omg
I love this app so much it is so helpful but, This black lady with a braided bun she does good sign language but she is not so specific like her n or m looks like a k. And I don’t like 5 stars though✌🏾💋❤️
Pretty good, could be better
I enjoy the app itself, but I went to the app dictionary to look up some words, and a lot of the times, they didn't have the words I needed. But, overall, the app is great. I would recommend this.
Fantastimazing (fantastic+amazing)
This app is AWESOME! My friend and I were bored and wanted to learn some ASL because we like doing it. I found this app, and we’ve been doing this ever since! This app is amazing. I love the way that you have multiple levels and then take like a quiz after to test your knowledge. Another feature I like about this app is that you are able to see what you’re going to do next, even if you can’t click on it. Thanks for reading this review!
Super good one change needed
It has been good, but it only let me learn the alphabet before doing any words and I wanna skip to words.
Section 13 released.
