Hoax Hunter

This is a simple app designed for people to use as a guide for finding fake news in articles that may seem suspicious.  The model is not always 100% accurate and may provide inaccurate results, however, is a way to quickly see if something is fake or real. Our app uses a custom machine-learning model to analyze articles for trustworthiness, based on linguistic and contextual features. While the model offers valuable insights, we advise users to use it as a supportive tool rather than a definitive validator of article accuracy. This app uses many features that are nowhere on the Apple app store and utilizes features that cannot be found anywhere else. Using it as an app rather than other forms of code (e.g., standalone scripts or web applications) allows for seamless integration with iOS platforms, leveraging native capabilities like push notifications, background fetch, and device token handling. This native integration enhances user experience and platform-specific functionalities, making it a more robust and efficient solution for iOS app development.
