The perfect Biblical Hebrew flash card app. No more carrying a stack of flash cards around anymore. It's all right there on your iPhone or iPod touch. This app contains all words used 50 or more times in the Hebrew Old Testament. That's 667 words total. This is perfect for Bible scholars and students. Note: Due to the resources I had available, I was not able to include the number of appearances for the individual words. Navigating through the words couldn't be simpler. To see the next Hebrew word in order, tap the top right half of the screen, top left half for the previous Hebrew word. To see the English translation, tap anywhere on the bottom half. If you prefer a more card-like interface, just rotate the device horizontally. Need to focus on some specific words? No problem! Just create your own user customized list.

Great app with plenty of potential, just needs a few things to make it functional: 1) when making custom list, able to select range of words at one time in ranges of 50 or 100 words (ex. Choose 1-100, or 200-250, etc) 2) in the "practice all words category", able to choose range. (Ex. Words 1-250, etc). This would allow for random button to travel just within that range of words. 3) basic proofreading. Some of the English and Hebrew words have spelling mistakes. See Hebrew word for "year", for instance. This app could be the go-to app for Hebrew students, but until these basic things are accomplished, I won't be able to recommend it to my students. Agree that more customization would be nice. I'd also like, at a minimum, phonetic pronunciation written out along with meaning. Lastly, and this is a nit, it was very unclear where to press to reveal the meaning (empty whitespace wasn't intuitive). After i figured it out it was cake. Maybe a simple button would be nice. Otherwise great app

There are NO vowel points on the verbs. The definition does not provide the part of speech There is no search function in the word list.

This is a Terrible app. It crashes frequently, and many of the definitions are misspelled. This app misses some of the most frequently used words, and doesn't include the vowels for the verbs. Worst of all, the developer is done working on the app and will not address any of this problems. Take your money elsewhere!
