The Empower app has been developed in coordination with, and is used by participants of, several municipal youth employment programs. Empower provides participants and coaches with: program status and obligations, financial goals, tracking savings and hours worked, financial budgets, messaging capabilities, educational modules, etc. This app will empower the user with the knowledge and skills for successful career readiness & financial management.

I’m never doing this program ever again! They scammed all of the children out of their money and time and now they won’t answer the phone. They don’t respond to messages as frequently as needed and they will waste your time. This is child labor laws and Ras J. Baraka will be reviewing an email from me. I’m begging you, please do not apply for this program. Just get a real job because they will waste your time. If you are the ages of 14-16 you don’t need this program. There are plenty of jobs that still will hire you and pay you your worth. I do not recommend this program for anybody in the near future.
United Statesdon’t work for summer youth employment
They don’t give full checks. & on the last paycheck we all were receive $175 and plus the money didn’t give from the last paycheck .. first of all they missed money from certain people paycheck and now this paycheck they give us $35 and some $70 this is not ok . We are kids trying to get money but we get scammed in return. I don’t recommend summer youth because they also have bad communication skills.. multiple people have tried to call them and they don’t pick up. If they do pick up they say stuff that doesn’t help or try to blame the fact that your pay was cut short because of you. A lot of People have worked and didn’t miss a day and still got cut short. Mentors lack communication as well. The whole system just needs to be fixed.

i’m sorry i’m giving this a one star because it won’t let me show where my schedule is suppose to be and that my mentor does not even answer his text so i don’t know what these people are doing but they got to get their stuff together and get serious because this is a problem
