In each chapter, you will learn vocabulary and structures related to a topic in everyday life in about 20 exercises. You practice numbers, names of food, furniture and professions. The app combines listening, reading and writing and helps you practice basic vocabulary.
Preselected Input doesn’t work right
For some questions there is no keyboard input, you must select from pop up. It does not work! You can tap away on the word options but the app doesn’t recognize, still shows fields as blank. It does accept keyboard input where applicable, however it counts “ss” for double S as a error. Please note there is no double S symbol (ß) on the German keyboard within the app!! iPad mini. Used for ten minutes. I’m uninstalling. Looks like the app was not tested.

The questions where you had to drag the answers or rearrange the words/numbers/etc in correct order did not work. The app keeps crashing and closing on its own.

Arranging sentences is almost impossible. Words jump around and group together unpredictably. I gave up on this app when I spent a full minute trying to arrange a simple sentence. This is disappointing, as The Goethe Institute really should be making some of the better language learning tools.
