So, It’s practically a website. Every single button takes you to a website outside the app. Thus, the app is pointless. Why have an app when you could have a much better website? The UI/UX is really dumb. It literally looks like a prototype that a single dev smushed together in an hour. It has no point, it is poorly done. Now, make it worthwhile by adding useful stuff other than a bunch of links, you have an ok app. 1. Get a good developer 2. Think about what could be done 3. Do it

——I am in challenge III. I’m going to prove it by writing an abridged essay in LTW format. Here we go—— Are you considering downloading the CC connected app to your mobile device? Some people say that it may be helpful, but this app is trash for three reasons: it is pointless, has no functionality, and is designed to sell you something. Firstly, the CC connected app is pointless. It does not have any clear purpose. When you first open the app, you see the Home Screen. This Home Screen contains several links to CC’s bookstore, socials, and help line. This is all you will ever see while using the app. All it contains are links to outsource information. My thought is, I could just go to safari or google and type “CC book store” or “CC help line”. I don’t need your pointless app. Secondly, the CC connected app has no functionality. Like I mentioned earlier, it simply outsources your resources. On its own, it does nothing. I think the developers have missed a great opportunity here. What would have been AMAZING is an app that would contain a digital version of the guide for whatever year you are working through. (As a challenge III student, I can see this being immensely helpful). That way you could view your assignments for the week on the go. This would be something I would actually pay money for. The CC connected app however, only says “Hey! Check out our bookstore!” It has no actual functionality. Thirdly and lastly, it is not designed to actually help you. It is designed to sell you something. “Check out our bookstore!” It says. “Hey, do you like Twitter? Check out our Twitter!” Not many homeschool moms and kids are on Twitter though in all honesty. “Okay, no Twitter? How about Facebook? Check out our Facebook and maybe buy something from our website!” That is not designed to help you, it is designed to sell you something. In conclusion, the CC connected app is not helpful because it is pointless, has no functionality, and is designed to sell you something. I beg you, developers, give us a mobile version of the guide and maybe a place for a weekly checklist. Your app as it is now is no good. Redo it. From a student, to the creators, make me something I can actually use and profit from.
