Amazing!
Ive tried other apps to learn my japanese. Some werent fit, some had bugs. This app I havent caught a single bug and its actually helping me remember japanese characters and I struggle to remember things. If you are reading my reveiw as someone curious if they should download it (I do that too), download it please!

I'm using it to learn japanese and I'm quite impressed with it. It hides the english translation so you can focus more on learning rather than just mapping japanese to english. One place I think it can improve at is bringing in a few super common Kanji during the N5 section's initial grammar lessons.

I’ve been seeing ads for Bunpo and finally downloaded it because of a review from a japanese language learning influencer. I’m already on intermediate courses but thought it would be fun to start from scratch on Bunpo to keep my skills sharp. However, after 3 lessons it won’t let me progress any further and everything is locked behind a subscription. No thanks. Falsely advertised as free when it’s not.

so, at first, I really love this app and then I realized the other lessons were locked and I had to get premium but there’s no way I’m paying that much money just to learn a language when there’s other apps around. so that made me pretty frustrated. Other than that it’s good I just think that we need to have more lessons available without having to pay. (especially in Japanese).

United StatesTrying to self study again, but text cover up problems
I decided to try this application as a means to teach myself Japanese again, and it is quite good and giving some exercises, and I only got through the first chapter. However, there are some gluing flaws that should be addressed to make Japanese language, better, or any language learning better: There needs to be something that allows the typing answer to be seen because on my iPhone, when I reach to the lesson called “も”, the typing field is below sentences A and B, and yet the typing answer cannot be seen because it cannot scroll down to see. that makes learning experience. Very frustrating. If that issue gets fixed at the framework level, that would make any language learning more enjoyable.
