Videos do not load
For some odd reason the videos continue to buffer and not play every minute. Only happens with this app, while using on safari it works fine.

United StatesGood lectures, interface needs an upgrade
Listen, I’m not here to opine on whether or not Becker is the best CPA review prep. You will have to determine that for yourself. I’m here because I’m desperately trying to use the iOS app to review for my upcoming exam and none of the interface is working as it should. Video lectures (which have all supposedly have been pre-downloaded!) constantly freeze, I can’t even view the slides without the page selector freezing (and the slide interface is overall clunky). It’s supposed to be a 1-to-1 translation of the web experience to mobile but nothing is working as it should. I can’t see this working for on-the-go. Developers, please make it functional 😭

The new “Evolution” format is terrible. Gone are the highlights, comments and notes that the presenters used to provide for high focus areas. Now we get cheap, short YouTube like videos that are not in sync with the text and PowerPoint slides presented by people that have zero experience in the subject matter… or even presenting. Becker was questionably worth the cost before but now this program as become worthless. You will have to read the book fully and try to wrap your head abound poorly written explanations and no guidance in what the important topics are. Good luck - this will take twice as long to get through as the prior version.

Just wanted to send out this review to let the developers know that when you pivot between landscape and portrait while watching the video lectures they make the video glitch and I have to close out of the app and reopen it for me to be able to continue the lecture. App development is tough especially when you don’t know the bugs that are killing the end user.

Concept videos are unusable after recent update. Plays for max 2 minutes before errors in playback or buffering. What is the point of the download function if it doesn’t allow for better video connection, or even to access videos period while offline??
