Learned but very euromale centric
I loved exploring the various artists and learned a lot. However, the title and description should reference the focus on Western Europe and white male artists. Art history happens in other parts of the world and by an interesting diversity of artists. Would love to learn more about a more global art history.

Not really for learning the art really for memorizing it. Atleast the free version. Shows you a group of paintings and the artist. Then the quiz Is multiple choice match painting to artist. Doesn’t have anything on the distinguishing characteristics of that’s artist’s paintings, The subject matter, the technique, or anything about the artist itself.

Love this app! I haven’t studied art history since college. Very pleased with this app! Highly recommend! Edited to say it’s no longer free.. they’ve locked all but 3 sections of the app… 4.99 a month or 19.99 a year now..
