Does not sync with Anki desktop.
This is not the same as Anki desktop or Anki web. The app that syncs with Anki Desktop/Web is Anki Mobile. This app is fine, however if you are looking for the app that syncs with Anki web/desktop this is the incorrect app.

My nephew knew I was studying Italian and recommended this flash card app during either a Thanksgiving or Christmas family gathering. While sorting my notes in my office, I ran across the name of the apps he recommended. So glad I did follow through and add the app to try it. I have been looking for a new routine and this will be part of it.

Disgusted that this “development” team is stealing AnkiMobile’s name (the only original Anki app/software) and putting a shiny gloss on it to steal money from unsuspecting users. It’s not even well-executed. I used this version before thinking it was the real thing, and I got rid of it because it was literally just a bad version of AnkiWeb, I just didn’t know it was a knockoff at the time! I finally pulled the trigger on the REAL Anki app (the real one is called AnkiMobile Flashcards) and it is well worth the cost. Not only do I value the much more well-developed app, I also appreciate that I’m supporting the original creator instead of some freeloaders who won’t put their visual/graphics design skills to better use other than stealing. They tried to make a bad fake version of AnkiMobile that doesn’t work well and put a new coat of paint on it and make a profit. Well, lipstick on a pig is just lipstick on a pig. If that’s what you want, then download this app. (: Reading the responses from the leadership of this team is even more gross then the obvious misleading tactics they’re using to make profit off someone else’s work by selling a subpar knockoff of it. The responses show they know what they’re doing AND they don’t care about the complete lack of ethics. I’ll mirror what others have said and I hope the original creator sues them and every other fake ripoff app (there’s several because the original is just that good; when you’re that good, everyone else can only try to imitate you). I wish I could give 0 or even NEGATIVE stars to offset the fake review on here; any real medical student definitely uses the REAL original Anki which is called: AnkiMobile Flashcards. If you don’t believe me, go to the sub Reddit called “medicalschoolAnki” and there’s more than 150k med students who are very active there in sharing decks on the REAL Anki— which they have set as the profile picture for the sub reddit!! Shame on you, “Anki”Pro team! Put your design skills to better use!

I’m using the cards to learn French. Why wouldn’t there be pronunciation on the majority of cards? So if you want to learn how to read French, this the app for you. Want to learn to speak it, you might want to look elsewhere. Love the ability to look up info on every card.

I LOVE the app, but noticed the more cards I have, the slower and slower the app has gotten. I would LOVE an updated fix for this because it’s really starting to affect my studying!
