Not awful
The questions aren't written very well. I haven't taken the exam yet but the questions seem far too easy. The ability to create flash card sets is nice, but I'd like to be able to download other users' sets or share my own. I would be more satisfied if this had been $3 or $5 instead of $7.

This app is not that great. The quiz answers were sometimes not right, and I had to go to my hard copy manual to verify answers many times. I bought this app for convenience, and it ended up being a hassle to study with. Luckily, I passed my exam, but it's due to the fact that the app made me re-read the material in the book due to it being incorrect in the app. Don't buy this, just study hard, and save the money for a halfway decent celebratory beer when you pass the test by doing it the old fashioned way--read the material in the book.

I just finished the ACE Personal Training Manual 4th edition and purchased this app because of the portability, good reviews (which I now know are mostly fake), and low price point. About 15 questions into the quiz I came across a multiple choice question that asked, "what is a good representation of the 'tell, show, do training method?'" I answered correctly "explain to the client how the exercise is performed, show the client the procedure, and then allow them to try the exercise themselves." The app marked the question wrong with a big fat red highlight, and highlighted green the hilariously false "allow the client to show you how to perform the exercise." There are also many typos. some of the info is fine, but don't risk your $400 test taking fee on this thrown-together app.

Glad I found this. After running through 2 other apps full of errors it was nice to finally find this app. Don't let the price fool you this is the best ace prep on the App Store. Actually has questions on IFT model which is pretty important for the test. Other apps don't even mention it.
