If it doesn't work, it's because your regular expression is wrong or because nothing match. Stop giving a bad rate because you don't know how to use it ! A library of regex samples (and with examples) is included. If you need help to create the correct regular expressions, feel free to check the support page. The reason you are getting so many bad reviews is that your implementation is not a traditional regexp syntax and you have provided no documentation. Your app does work very well; and I'm sure that you can use it to its fullest ability since you created it, BUT when escapes are not necessary and literals cause iterations to fail - that's a problem. Add a website with documentation and you'll see the 5 star ratings you deserve. Until then, due to lack of documentation you're getting an honest rating. USERS... If you're familiar with regexp there is still going to be some trial and error involved in using RegEx Extractor. For templated results there shouldn't be any problems and the app will perform very well and blazingly fast. For custom regexp however, the best approach is do a 100% symbolized expression because of the quirks I noted to the developer. Even so, WOULD recommend.

RegEx Extractor is a perfect product in “Developer Tools” category here in AppStore: Benjamin develop solid and stable, fast working and very useful app. App for all who familiar and working with RegEx syntax and extracting from webpages each 1-2 day and at one day have thought that Graphics UI sometime is better then typing from productivity point of view. From my point, great SAMPLE CODE HELP and LIBRARY (cheat sheet, help) with context-senisitivity boost up sales for this app. “sample code” I mean something looks like in “Pattern-The Regex App”, “Oyster - Your Regex IDE”, “Extract Regex”, “Regex Wizard”, “Regex Coach”. RESUME: Great start, great price. We need code sample and sensitive help.
